Team Cherry Announces Final Major Update for Hollow Knight: Silksong Ahead of Upcoming Expansion
Team Cherry has revealed the details of what it anticipates to be the last significant update for Hollow Knight: Silksong prior to the release of its much-anticipated Sea of Sorrows expansion.
The recent patch, identified as Version 1.0.29926, is now live for players on PC and is expected to roll out to console platforms shortly. This update not only addresses various bug fixes but also introduces crucial language enhancements. Notably, the game now supports Traditional Chinese, with Team Cherry collaborating closely with translators to ensure the accuracy of the lore. The localization team also worked in conjunction with the Simplified Chinese group to maintain consistency across the two language versions. Additionally, modifications have been made to the German script for clarity and coherence.
Among the updates included in the patch are:
- Introduction of Traditional Chinese localization.
- Refined German translations for improved clarity.
- Allowing Silk to traverse through top scene exits.
- Resolution of various bugs related to enemies becoming stuck out of bounds.
- Adjusted damage for the Last Judge’s death explosion from three to two.
- Magma Bell now offers protection against all fire-type explosions, among other fixes and enhancements.
