Audi Unveils Enhanced Suspension and Aesthetic Updates for RS 3 Competition
In a significant update to the RS 3 Competition model, Audi has introduced a series of noteworthy enhancements, particularly focusing on the suspension system. The standard model’s adjustable dampers have been replaced with a new manually adjustable coilover setup, enabling drivers to customize the vehicle’s performance through precise adjustments to both compression and rebound settings. This customization, however, requires the use of provided tools rather than an in-car control mechanism.
In addition to the suspension updates, Audi has incorporated a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, which enhances handling and stability. Furthermore, the vehicle now comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes, complete with eye-catching red-painted calipers, which rest behind distinctive 19-inch alloy wheels featuring a cross-spoke design in Neodumium gold.
Visual modifications are equally striking, including a revamped front bumper with a redesigned grille, a new bi-plane splitter, and integrated dive planes. These elements are complemented by a unique rear wing, carbon-fiber mirror covers, side skirts, and a rear diffuser, all finished in a matte carbon fiber. The matrix LED headlights have also received an update, now featuring black internals that lend a more aggressive aesthetic.
The RS 3 Competition will be available in three striking color options: Daytona Grey, Glacier Matte White, and Malachite Green.
Inside the cabin, black Nappa leather predominates, accented by Neodumium gold stitching and Dynamica inserts. Standard features include RS bucket seats, with additional touches of Ginger white stitching and matte-finished carbon fiber enhancing the driving experience.
This latest iteration of Audi’s performance hatchback promises to deliver both a personalized driving experience and a visually striking appearance on the road.
