Lego Unveils New Luigi-Themed Set Amidst MAR10 Day Celebrations
In a timely announcement coinciding with MAR10 Day, Nintendo and Lego have officially launched pre-orders for a new Lego set featuring Luigi. The Mario Kart – Luigi & Mach 8 set is now available for order on the official store, following an earlier teaser from the companies earlier this year.
Priced at £159.99, the set boasts an impressive 2,234 pieces and is designed to complement the previously released Mario-themed collection. The completed model will stand 10 inches (25 cm) high, 16 inches (41 cm) long, and 9 inches (23 cm) wide.
To provide a detailed preview of the new construction, Nintendo has released a trailer across social media platforms.
Similar to its Mario counterpart, the Luigi set is designed with adult builders in mind, reflecting a significant level of complexity and featuring smaller components. Pre-orders are limited to three units per customer, and the official release date is scheduled for April 1, 2026, strategically timed with the premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
In addition to the Luigi set, Nintendo has announced the release of another title, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, slated to hit the market on May 21, 2026.
For those interested in pre-ordering the new set, details can be found on the Lego website.
