Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie Face Uncertain Future Amid Epstein Fallout
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie may find their living situations jeopardized as a result of their family’s association with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. While there is no evidence to suggest any wrongdoing on their part, the sisters reportedly fear that they could become isolated from the wider royal family due to the negative publicity surrounding their father’s connections.
Currently, both sisters reside in elegant homes in the United Kingdom, where they are raising their young families. Princess Beatrice, aged 37, lives in the Cotswolds with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, their two daughters, and her stepson, nine-year-old Wolfie. Beatrice’s residence, acquired for £3.5 million in 2021, is located roughly an hour and a half from the former home of her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, in Windsor.
Prior to her move to the Cotswolds, Beatrice and her family resided at St. James’s Palace in Westminster. In contrast, Princess Eugenie continues to live in London at Ivy Cottage, alongside her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their two sons. The couple balances their time between the UK and Portugal due to Jack’s career commitments.
The royal sisters have come under scrutiny following the release of documents associated with Jeffrey Epstein. Notably, the pair, then aged 19 and 20, were mentioned in connection with a visit to Epstein in 2009, reportedly facilitated by their mother, Sarah Ferguson.
Historian Andrew Lownie commented on the situation, stating, “They weren’t five-year-old girls when they were taken to see Epstein. They were adults. There seems to be a concerted effort to portray them as innocent victims of circumstances, but they were quite deeply involved.”
As the impact of their family’s past continues to unfold, the future for Beatrice and Eugenie remains uncertain, prompting concerns about their relationships within the royal fold and the stability of their homes.
