Lily Allen’s Portrait Unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery
The National Portrait Gallery in London has unveiled a striking portrait of singer Lily Allen, featured on the cover of her latest album, West End Girl. The artwork, created by Spanish artist Nieves Gonzalez and personally owned by Allen, was revealed to the public on Thursday and will remain on display for the next year.
The portrait captures Allen seated on a stool, adorned in a polka dot puffer jacket and boots, while prominently showcasing a tattoo on her left leg.
As she prepares to launch a three-night performance series at the London Palladium, starting Friday, Allen expressed her delight at sharing the piece with the public: “I’m so pleased to make this special painting available for everyone to see.”
