In a remarkable find, a speedrunner has unearthed a little-known Easter egg within Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, the inaugural title of one of PlayStation’s most celebrated franchises. Released in November 2007 for the PlayStation 3, Drake’s Fortune introduced players to the charismatic treasure hunter Nathan Drake, along with his mentor Victor “Goddamn” Sullivan and journalist Elena Fisher. The game not only earned critical acclaim but also set the stage for a multimedia franchise that includes graphic novels, mobile games, and a feature film.
Recently, the speedrun community was abuzz with excitement as the player known as Panzerdeer utilized the debug menu during Chapter 19 to venture out of bounds, revealing a hidden area that had remained elusive since the game’s release. Within this space, Panzerdeer discovered an image featuring 16 “mugshots” of individuals presumed to be part of the game’s development team. Notable names displayed on the folders held aloft by the Naughty Dog team members included playful aliases such as Cor-Upted and BigDaddy.
